  2. That is a good question. There is a breaking point for everything.

You know a lot of them don't have enough work to do so they just make up a heist.

What is the saying, "good enough for gov't work."

    Overpaid and underworked.

  3. You mean George Bush?
He's gone, but his internet gambling law still stands. Guess your pea-brain didn't know that! :D

On October 13, 2006, president George W. Bush signed into law the 'Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act' barring American online players from sending funds to online gaming sites.

Check out this article, i know you fair and balanced fellas do enjoy Fox:

  4. The guy wasn't trying to send funds to an online gaming site. What part of that don't you understand? Once again Landis82 comes up short on facts.

    Irrelevant.
The post is just one sentence, yet you still can't comprehend it.

I wonder how long it will take to people to really get fed up with the scumbags in Washington D.C..

Do you get it now, Bozo the Clown??

P.S. I used to play poker and go through poker mags on regular basis dumb-ass.

  6. It's bullshit but Vegas (among others) had more than enough pull in Washington to outlaw internet gambling in the good 'ol US of A, land of the free. Never mind taxing it, we need to outlaw competitors.

Matters very little to me anyway. Ever since Ultimate Bet and their sister web site (Poker Stars?) got busted cheating customers (well, they say it was a rogue ex-employee...whatever), I have zero desire to play online, since I know damn well this is just the tip of the iceberg. Back to the Indian casinos and Vegas for me. Turns out outlawing your competition wasn't even necessary. They killed themselves.

  7. The gummit needs to decide if we are a gambling nation or not? Its fucking retarded to ban internet gambling when there is legalized gambling in every state. Can someone say lottery?

Anyway, if the gummit stopped being stupid and legalized online gaming they/we (not sure if the gummit serves the people anymore?) would collect on the tax revenues.

  8. to act as mitigator in this, as you seem awfully worked up, Mister Landis82 must have misunderstood that you were saying that it is only the current administration that are "scumbags" when i am sure you were saying George W was even more of a scumbag regarding this poker mess?
he, perhaps taking offense that you were referring to the current prez as such, produced info that he believed would vindicate Obama by pointing out that it was actually started by policies enacted by former President Bush.
i mean, it is certainly more like right wing policy to be against such sinful things as gambling and i believe that Obama is a bit more lenient towards such. he is a liberal, after all, right?
as you go through poker mags and the like, you have probably already read this in May's casinocity.com, but just in case you haven't...

This month, Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., introduced legislation that would essentially repeal the ban (on online gambling)by instituting a framework for licensing and regulating online games.

Religious groups have vowed to maintain the online gambling ban, saying Internet gaming is a threat to home life and family finances. They compare online gambling with positioning a casino in the living room. Yet the bill appears to have growing support, particularly as lawmakers eye the money-making potential. The Poker Players estimate $3 billion annually could be generated from legitimizing the business.

see there, ANG 99, you are one step ahead of the game as they WILL collect these taxes IF they can get it passed that religious right.

so fellas, don't worry about it getting worse, it just takes time to reverse the fucked up policies that have been put in place. right now, fixing the clusterfucked economy is top priority.

    wish the president luck :D

I don't care for religious right (never been to church), disliked Bush a lot, and hate political class regardless of party affiliation. I hate Obama for a con job he is.
Yes, I am well aware Mr. Barney Frank is MVP in Congress for poker community.
