FedEx said Monday it'll hire 20,000 seasonal employees for the holiday season. On Dec. 12, the projected busiest day in company history, the company expects to move more than 17 million shipments, a 10% increase. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, FedEx estimates 260 million shipments, a 12% increase. FedEx said the impact of the increased volume was included in its earnings forecast issued in Septmeber.
