The federal reports provide clear figures on the percentages of the prison population who are illegal immigrants. It is very easy for a REASONABLE PERSON to make the comparison.
The problem here is that we should not have to suffer any crimes by illegals. It is almost irrelevant if they are 3 times the native population or 7 times or even if, as improbably claimed, they are less. They are not supposed to be here, period. So anyone who claims there is not a terrible human cost to illegal immigration should have to explain that theory to Kate Steinle's parents or the parents and loved ones of hundreds of others killed or victimized by illegals.

The quarterly reports are not a Trump administration study -- they have been going on for many years each quarter from before Trump was in office. It is absurd to dispute the facts about the numbers of illegal immigrants in prison; it is clearly defined in the federal reports. The percentage numbers are varied little over the past couple of decades. You can argue over why the percentage of illegal immigrants in federal and state prison over-represent their percentage of the population. In the same way you can argue over why blacks over-represent their percentage of the population in prison. Is it poverty, lack of parental responsibility, lack of opportunity, or one of many of factors. However before we can have an honest conversation over why, we need you to accept the indisputable numbers --- in order to demonstrate that you can be rational.
