Nice post. There is so much utter nonsense about socialism that comes from the US right. How many times must it be said that state intervention in the economy and a powerfull state does not necessarily equal socialism. Indeed, capitalism has frequently coexisted very easily with powerfull and oppressive states eg Nazi Germany, fascist Italy and Spain, Pinochet's Chile etc.

Talking of nonsense. What the hell, do you think, Hitler's party name was?????

  4. You are completely wrong.

First of all you are talking about communism not socialism when you try to compare the Fed to government intervention and controlling wealth. You quoting Lenin, hello???

Second of all, I sense you are one of those capitalism proponents who believe laissez faire capitalism equal free market competition. Without getting into a debate, the only REAL LIFE example of true capitalism in USA are the eras of Carnegie, Rockefeller & Vanderbuilt. The only real competition there is who made the bigger mess blowing up & murdering their competitors.

The Fed is the ideal capitalist tool for consolidating wealth and enacting financial slavery over the masses. It's owned by member banks, who run the money and hence run the country. Somehow, I fail to see the socialism aspect but seems like it's just me, right?
