The Fed today, in the distraction and confusion of recent activities in addressing the turmoil in the financial markets, has just noticed that in all their money handouts, they did not leave enough to buy more ink! They have asked for an emergency donations and collections of and for some green ink. In the intrerim, they are continuing to run the presses with the 'gray-scale' setting, 'use black ink cartridge only' settings. The Fed Chair noted, 'We believe these currency runs will be collectors items in the future'.
