Nobody wil be investigated by the formal machinery. They are above the law. Thats right, America has people above the law just like in the old third world dictatorships. No independent looking to make a name for himself like Spitzer will touch it as the people hurt were short, so the propaganda machine will trot out the old 'shorting is unpatriotic'.
