Asian Stocks Drop as U.S. Service Industries Shrink

Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks fell, with the region's benchmark set for its first back-to-back drop in two weeks, after a contraction in U.S. service industries fueled concern that the world's largest economy is in a RECESSION.

  9. Feb has been one of my best months in a few years. Beat out Jan.

Remember, "for every long their is an equal short". persa.

Of course the "Consumer" 401k is nothing but long.

So, maybe I should say that, there are "some" shorts out there.

AHH THE DAYS LIVERMORE LIVED FOR!

Who cares whether we go into a recession or not? In ANY market there are good stocks to buy (and short). Some of you seem to think that because we are in a recession, or bear market or whatever that you can't make money. Do some homework. Research stocks.

April of 2006 SVNT was a $5 stock. Now $20+. Revenue estimates for Puricase upwards of $1 billion. Expected to be approved and hit market in 2009. Give it a valuation of 2.5 x revs estimate and you're looking at a $45 - $47 stock. I predict a buyout in the next 3-6 months.

They're presenting at a Merrill conference on Wednesday 2/6 at 1:00 pm EST. Just announced statistical significance on some secondary endpoints of their Phase 3 trial thus increasing the potential patient population. Last new gout treatment (drug) was mid 1960's.

Not touting or pumping SVNT - but it's easy money IMO.
