The last trading day of the month is coming, and I just wanted to remind everyone (as I'm sure you know) that from 1982-2011, the first calendar day of the month has closed higher than the last trading day of the month 70% of the time. The average close higher is much greater than the average close lower, so it is generally a very profitable trade. The last day of February is coming up, and the first 3 days of march have closed higher than the last day of February 90% of the time.
