I always heard that faith was the opposite of fear. But that was in church, and I quit going awhile ago. I suppose faith and confidence are the same thing.
Not quite. Faith can be blind. Confidence, as I've heard it said, is constructive pessimism in that you are properly prepared to deal with matters should they go wrong. Big difference.
