  2. I even held back when he accused me a being a Douchebag Al Qaeda Sympathizer :) but you have to understand something, the reason he won't accept a peace accord is because he knows this is the only way to derail discussions. He cannot debate and win so he falls back on basic trolling techniques (i.e.: name calling, topic switching, etc, etc). If you analyze his posting history you will see this play out more often than not.

This thread is a prime example. His first post was an insult aimed at destabilizing the conversation.

I don't get him either. To me he seems to be an attention-seeker and hot-air-bag, USMC service aside.

If confined to a single word to describe DAS I would say "pedant".

  4. Attention seeker eh? I suppose that's true for every single person who posts on the internet. Unless you are saying you don't want any of your posts to be seen. Is that the case?

Oh yeah and pedant? I suppose I'm guilty as charged. I was an instructor so it's a difficult thing to shed.

I figured out weeks ago to not get into yammerfests with you because each subsequent post of yours just gets longer and longer until I have to turn the air conditioner on.

  6. I do attempt to back up my arguments, sometimes successfully, other times not. At the end of the day I am simply trying to exchange ideas. I tend to remain respectful as long as people are respectful in kind.

  7. Are you even capable of NOT lying? You basically ran away from the debate when I eviscerated you with this. I even bumped it but you still stayed off topic.

    Wow, you're a total blockhead.

Just so you know... this is what the FDA does and it's hysterical that you fell for this tinfoil hatted article and apparently "think" the FDA only does (or should do) food and drugs because that's their name :p

FDA is the federal agency responsible for ensuring that foods are safe, wholesome and sanitary; human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices are safe and effective; cosmetics are safe; and electronic products that emit radiation are safe. FDA also ensures that these products are honestly, accurately and informatively represented to the public.

Do you "think" the blood supply should be unregulated? What about heart valves? Or diagnostic and therapeutic radiological devices? Is the regulation of those wrong because it's not in the FDA's name? Is that incrementalism threatening our freedom? Only Ron Paul can save us!!!

Did I miss something? Is Trailer666 actually trying to pass himself off as a marine? In your case, 6, I think it's spelled m-o-r-o-n.

It all comes down to the liberal belief that stem-cells should be harvested. They have a bs line about laboratory cultured sources but they are really after fetal sources of stem-cells and so resent any regulation that might hinder that. The underlying liberal philosophy is clear.

  10. You are right about two things, it is incremntalism and only Ron Paul can save us (this cycle). You may be perfectly comfortable with a government that seeks to claim your body as property to be regulated but that's one of the many areas where you and I differ.

By the way, we pretty much covered this already and it was after this point you switched to talking about Awlaki.

"This time the FDA just nakedly says in court documents that the agency wants to protect the market for FDA-approved drugs. "

That is why the FDA is seeking to regulate stem cells. To protect the profits of Big Pharma.
