Getting back to the topic of "bad words" being allowed......

The English language is so rich with descriptions, why does everyone center on "the 7 words you can't say on TV".......

"you copulating fatherless boy" works just as well.

"I say guano, and you come sliding in" is effective.

    Be creative fellows.

    :) :D :p

AFAIC, it's about time. The networks can show people fucking each other's brains out (nearly always unmarried, at least to each other) all afternoon and evening but they can't use the word? Please.

this is fucking ridiculous. I do not want to hear the fucking word on T.V.

Can you imagine the friends saying Oh fuck instead of oh my god ever time they try to express emotions like caring or concern.

I agree that nudity is better than violence. But I do not want my kids to sex, or cursing or violence (But this is besides the point and I agree with Gordon a bit on this one. )

However, there are times when society should exercise a modicum of propriety. Now we will see cursing for the fucking shock value and fucking ratings untill the word gets worn the fuck out.

By the way I hoping this thread is all fucking wrong.

Doesn't bother me any more than kids using the word "suck", on TV or anywhere else. What do they - and everyone else - think it means, anyway?
