Speaking of super secret stuff... FBI owes answers abt “insurance policy” against Trump victory…& if nothing to hide, why would senior FBI leaders use secret phones that “cant be traced” to talk Hillary? DOJ needs to give JudicComm full transparency/cooperation 2 restore public trust. FBI CANT BE POLITICAL — ChuckGrassley (@ChuckGrassley) December 13, 2017
The FBI is playing a serious game, and somewhat successfully too because they are able to take advantage of their knowledge that the committee has a history of backing down when push comes to shove. The issues they have with Strzok and Ohr and others are YUGE and blowing up day by day. But the epicenter, absolute core, master key to all the corruption relating to the political witch-hunt of trump is contained within the dossier files and how they were paid for, and how they were used to get fisa warrants, and how the fbi paid for part of their development, and how it included paying Russian agents among others. FRIGGING ROSENTHAL IS SITTING RIGHT THERE BEFORE THE COMMITTEE DANCING AROUND ABOUT STROK AND OHR BUT HE KNOWS THAT HE IS KEEPING THEM AWAY FROM THE DOSSIER. HE KNOWS THE ENTIRE STORY FRONT TO BACK AND HE DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THERE. HE ALSO KNOWS THAT, AS WITH BENGHAZI, AND AS WITH HOLDER, AND AS WITH THE IRS THAT CONGRESS MIGHT SEND NASTYGRAMS WHEN THEY DO NOT PROVIDE REQUESTED INFO BUT THEY WILL NOT JAIL THE PERSON OR BUST THE AGENCIES DOORS DOWN AND RAID THEIR FILES AND COMPEL PEOPLE WITH SECURITY ACCESS TO LET THEM IN TO THEIR COMPUTERS. It's about the dossier files. Rosenstein is willing to cut his left nut off before producing that information because it starts getting nuclear real fast after that. That is the dynamic going on now. Rosenstein sweating and drinking water and wiping his brow over the questions about some of the ancillary clowns but below the surface he knows he still has them at arms length on their request for the dossier info. That's the one thing he does not want. It should be the business of congress to go after the one thing he does not want to provide- but it always involves a big kabucki dance doesn't it? Congress needs to forcefully get that info or put their pink pussy hats on and just sit there like pussies. We shall see. They say that the secret to happiness is to keep lowering your expectations in life. I am not there yet.
The FBI’s Trump ‘Insurance’ Democrats and the media are accusing anyone who criticizes special counsel Robert Mueller as Trumpian conspirators trying to undermine his probe. But who needs critics when Mr. Mueller’s team is doing so much to undermine its own credibility? Wednesday’s revelations—they’re coming almost daily—include the Justice Department’s release of 2016 text messages to and from Peter Strzok, the FBI counterintelligence agent whom Mr. Mueller demoted this summer. The texts, which he exchanged with senior FBI lawyer Lisa Page, contain expletive-laced tirades against Mr. Trump. Such Trump hatred is no surprise and not by itself disqualifying. More troubling are texts that suggest that some FBI officials may have gone beyond antipathy to anti-Trump plotting. “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office—that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected—but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Mr. Strzok wrote Ms. Page in an Aug. 15, 2016 text. He added: “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.” What “policy” would that be? The “Andy” in question is Andrew McCabe, the deputy FBI director. FBI officials are allowed to have political opinions, but what kind of action were they discussing that would amount to anti-Trump “insurance”? In another exchange that month, Ms. Page forwarded a Trump-related article and wrote: “Maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace.” He thanked her and assured: “Of course I’ll try and approach it that way.” Mr. Strzok, recall, is the man who changed the words “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless” in James Comey’s July 2016 public exoneration of Hillary Clinton’s emails. The McCabe meeting came on the heels of the FBI’s launch of its counterintelligence probe into Trump-Russia ties. July is also when former British spook Christopher Steele briefed the FBI on his Clinton-financed dossier of salacious allegations against Mr. Trump. The texts explain why Mr. Mueller would remove Mr. Strzok, though a straight shooter wouldn’t typically resist turning those messages over to Congress for as long as Mr. Mueller did. Meanwhile, we’re learning more about the political motives of Mr. Mueller’s lieutenant, Andrew Weissmann. Judicial Watch last week released an email in which Mr. Weissmann expressed his “awe” and praise for Sally Yates, after the then acting AG and Obama holdover refused to implement Mr. Trump’s travel ban. This should trouble anyone who cares about the integrity of the Justice Department. Ms. Yates had every right to resign at the time if she felt she couldn’t implement Mr. Trump’s order. But she had no authority as an executive branch official to defy a legitimate presidential order. Mr. Weissmann’s support for her insubordination was a declaration that he is part of the “resistance.” This should be unacceptable in a ranking FBI official, much less someone charged with conducting a fair-minded investigation. Public confidence isn’t helped by the continuing Justice and FBI refusal to cooperate with Congress. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who supervises Mr. Mueller, toed the Mueller-FBI line on Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee. He repeated FBI Director Christopher Wray’s preposterous excuse that he can’t answer questions because of an Inspector General probe. And he wouldn’t elaborate on the news that Nellie Ohr, the wife of senior Justice official Bruce Ohr, worked for Fusion GPS, which hired Mr. Steele to gin up his dossier. The man who should be most disturbed by all this is Mr. Mueller, who wants his evidence and conclusions to be credible with the public. Evidence is building instead that some officials at the FBI—who have worked for him—may have interfered in an American presidential election. Congress needs to insist on its rights as a co-equal branch of government to discover the truth. The FBI has been politicized in the past and very corrupt. The left knew it and had no problem exposing it. That was a time long gone. In todays world the left is now believing everything our corrupt government has to say. Suddenly the feds are pure as the driven snow. What happened? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/you-are-done-a-secret-letter-to-martin-luther-king-jr-sheds-light-on-fbi’s-malice/ar-BBGGaWZ
Years ago - but not so long ago- the idea that big government should stay out of your life and not interfere with your personal freedoms was actually a "consensus issue" between the left and the right. Even a lot of the hippy "back to the land" types valued being left alone and free from government overreach. Different now with the left. They want cameras everywhere and a state-person to send them a reminder on their app telling them they have not taken their dump for the day. Oh, and you will be getting your health care down at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
So you’re saying the ‘dossier’ is the “insurance policy” in text message? Ok. That’s something to work with. Although it should be said, you’re guessing because you have no contextual evidence. But, you never know. We’ll see what Horowitz says.
I didn't think I was, but as usual they may know more about what I am thinking out on the Mothership than I do. Horowitz is on to some things and has done some good things but he is and should be just one player contributing. I have not set him up as the ultimate arbiter of what is right and wrong. He mostly works behind the scenes, which is as it should be. Word is that horowitz has some gravel in his guts because he tried to surface some things about the FBI investigation but was told to tamp it down or he would be gone if Hillary were ultimately elected. Then when comey "cleared" Hillary, he came out and said that the Inspector General's office would still be doing a review of the fbi's conduct in the case. You have to either have balls or be on a suicide mission to say that right at that time. He could be a dipshit too and I reserve the right to point that out where and when he is when his report or testimony is out. I let Comey walk on water for a very long time, until I didn't.
Anti-Trump 'insurance' provided by the top FBI officers during an election. That is pretty bad. I wonder what Mueller/Comey are thinking about this, another case of extreme carelessness?
Yeh, this little scenario is getting lots of deserved attention because it shows the swamp at work and the political nature of their actions. The thing that is overwhelmingly being underdiscussed, is the fact that this mofo WAS ONE OF THE LEAD COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE INVESTIGATORS for the United States of America. And he is out there bantering on twitter, emails whatsoever about what the disposition of the internal intelligence agency personnel might be, knowing full well that the communications of intelligence personnel are the primary targets of all the bad players in the world. 95% of what intelligence agencies do is to try to figure out the political and personal leanings of highly placed individuals so that they can be converted, exploited, or identify their friends, allies, and foes. And if he somehow felt that he was able to have this conversation on internal secure servers, then that is even worse. You know you have clowns in government like Hillary was, who keep the information on internal servers on their own server in their basement. "Secure" is a fluid term in government. Why does this fucker even have a job with the department? I mean if you are a foreign agent who is trying to identify people who might be willing to give you a little sumpin, sumpin because they think it would actually be in service to a larger good rather than espionage or treason, then look no further than these fuckers who are handing their leanings and tendencies to the spies of the world on a silver platter. Good thing he is working over in HR now. Where they have the names and personal info of every agent and person in the FBI/Justice Department on file. What could go wrong there?
