A consequence of Ryan and McConnell not repealing and replacing Obamacare or Trump pushing through the plan his team drew up. ... as well as not tax cuts for the voting base. Ryan got his team fired by the people by sabotaging the House Freedom caucus and Trump for his crony pay masters. So the democrats will bury everything clinton and bring us everything negative on Trump. By not bullying Ryan and the establishment sellout Republicans into following through on their campaign promises... Trump self impeached... if the Democrats are stupid enough to take it that far.
If only someone fired Jeff Sessions, and then nominated a new AG who is known to have issues with Mueller and with the way the Clinton situation was minimized..........if only. If only that happened, then that would not be a guarantee of anything to come other than that there would be MORE TO COME in some form, versus all the lefty media articles stating how any attempts to continue looking into Camp Clinton have officially ended. The dems have taken the house and that has all the well discussed implications about how it will all just be about investigation Trump 24/7. That reality cannot be changed. But the dems have a little reality that they have to deal with too, which is that is the new AG can appoint one or two witchhunters to look into all the Clinton issues that were pushed aside by the corrupt DOJ players. And no one knows better than the dems that once you get a witch hunter appointed with a broad mandate, it is real bitch to get rid of them. Everything takes on a life of its own. Since everyone recognizes that as at least a possibility, it as been a pantload of fun to watch some of the dems already trying to make the mere suggestion go away by labeling it as a witchhunt or as being politically motivated- without using those exact words because ...well...not good. And they would not be in good position to try to use their influence to tamp it down......because....well....there should be no political influence on special counsels right? heheh. Jeff is gone. Rosenstein is still there but no one in their right mind thinks that Barr wants him as his deputy.....so more to come there. Barr will also release all documents that Rosenstein has made a career out of concealing even while under court order to release. Dems think they are going to hammer Barr at confirmation and get him to promise recusal or that he wont do this or that. Not gonna happen. We have seen him in the confirmation process before, and he will just hunker down go very formal: I can't comment on hypotheticals or any issues that may come before me. Hehehe. Some of the tards will try to argue that, well, Hillary is not on the ballot so what difference does it make. Dont anyone bullshiite themselves. The Mueller thing, the FBI corruption, the media articles, and dem smearing is aimed at just plain dirtying Trump 24/7 and maintaining the propaganda message that Hillary was the legitimate winner and did not engage in shenanigans the way Trump did but was the victim of shenanigans. A real investigation will fix that. No punchline here. Just sayin. It ain't over.
Rosenstein and the Deep State have slowplayed the House investigation, using Mueller's witchhunt as justification. They were banking on the dems taking over and blocking any further inquiries. That part has worked. Mueller seems intent on dragging his act out until the 2020 elections, if given the opportunity. That way, he can shield the FBI and DOJ from serious inquiry on the ground that it would impede or compromise his investigation. A new AG with some balls can turn all that upside down. Barr may turn out to be an inspired choice, as he is an experienced player and cannot credibly be dismissed as a Trump lackey.
The other thing is that - as much as the dems are declaring victory by ending the investigation- the official, on he record reality is that the congressional committee completed the investigation and the outcome of the investigation was a request to the DOJ to appoint a special counsel. The pubs had to declare the investigation over before they left, otherwise they would not be able to be the ones making the findings and recommendations. An official request from a Congressional committee, makes it harder to argue that Barr acted just at Trump's direction if he appoints a special counsel. I mean, they will do it anyway but he has that as a valid pushback. Same way that they try to argue that Trump acted alone in firing Comey- except Rosenstein submitted a letter in his capacity as Acting AG outlining why Comey should be fired. An inconvenient truth for the dems.
Goodlatte and Gowdy are calling on the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate further. This after the Justice Department's own internal watchdog found no political bias against Comey or FBI earlier this year. Goodlatte and Gowdy said in their letter that their investigation “revealed troubling facts which exacerbated our initial questions and concerns". Troubling facts..... hahahaha The Republican enquiry resulted in a letter! Not a final report. They couldn't even pad out a report because there was nothing to report!
