That's why we need to have an Inspector General who has a more professional, rule-based, ethical, and informed view based on eighteen months of full-time investigaton with a staff of over 450 available to his office. Unfortunately for some of the fbi goons though, that is why they are in deep doo-doo. Story of the hour is that the IG's investigation- among dozens of other issues- is raising serious concern about McCabe slow-walking the investigation of Hillary. Specifically, alleging that Huma's/Weiner's laptop emails were known weeks in advance of the election but McCabe took a running shot at trying to conceal them until after the election. I don't know what the truth is. But I do believe - and we do know- that there is a pile of issues coming in through the IG, (strzok mischief was disclosed by the IG), and many people, yourself included, are trying to dismiss them as just coming from Trump. Actually Trump is right about some things that I wish that he was not right about. Also, to your comment, I have never heard anyone state that McCabe's wife received funding "illegitimately." The issue is that just because she is entitled to receive it if the dem party wants to give it to her, it still creates a conflict of interest for McCabe in his role.
That's the basis of Trump claiming there is a conflict of interest. It's absurd!!! Trump tried to connect her perfectly legitimate and legal campaign funding to "crooked" Hillary. Well of course the guy behind that PAC that funds Democrat political campaigns knows Hillary. I mean give me a break here Trump. For that matter, give us all a break. That guy, Trump, is truly insane, but lets please not let him get away with this crap.
Yes, Trump appropriately compared McCabe's wife receiving funding while he was supposed to acting independently, to Hillary's spouse receiving pay to play money over at the foundation while she was supposed to be acting independently. That analogy might be a stretch for you but it is more than obvious. Trump is absolutely right about that. Just another example of pay to play in DC. McCabe and Hillary.
Simply stating a connection exists won't hold up in court, but it is sufficient for some fraction of the population. About 10% it would seem. Welcome to the 10% who are susceptible to this kind of faulty reasoning. These folks don't require any evidence to back their crackpot beliefs. You may be one of those who think vaccination is the cause of autism, or that dental fillings poison you with mercury. Whatever! Have at it I say.
Really. You are going to tell the Inspector General that his findings and concerns and referrals to the Congress are based on "crackpot beliefs.?" Go for it. See if that makes his report and year and half long investigation go away. Help Rosenstein out a little while you are at it. You seem to be good at knowing about anything and he needs people like you on his side. And my point was never that a court does not need to make a finding. The point was- in case you have spaced it and cannot remember your original assertion- that a lot of the dirt on the FBI is not coming from just Trump. The FBI has problems with the coming IG report and with the Intel Oversight Committee and from pesky little problems like emails and texts showing fbi collusion that wont go away but not a problem for you. But we got it. You have no problem and see no problem with McCabe's wife getting 750K from the dem party while he is investigating the nominated head of that party. Nope, not a problem for you. Fortunately, it is problem for the IG and the Oversight Committee and they count and you don't. Just hope that poor Rod Rosenweasel doesn't have a heart attack when they release that report even though you will see nothing.
So what if the IG report shows nothing of significance? You seem to be hanging your hat pretty hard on Horowitz in the above statement.
Not worried about it. Horowitz has already delivered and moved this thing forward. Most of his report will be/is known by the time it comes out. Wray, for example, said he relied on the IG's finding in regard to moving McCabe along. The IG is the one who outed Strzok, the IG produced the text messages when the FBI said they were gone, and so on.
I suspect the market is taking a bit of a breather as it awaits Mr Nunes release of the classified memo. It is anticipated that this will rock the core of our beliefs in the legal nature of the FBI and DOJ. I believe the market and the nation will recover from this dark episode of "Left" meddling and obstruction, because that is what we as Americans alway do. A great thing about Trump is that he is exposing truths about real nasty folks all on the left. Whether he is doing it directly or officials' hatred of him is bringing it out, this house cleaning is absolutely vital. --We are sheep no more.
Wait, are we referring to the fraction of the population that thinks Trump has a connection to Russia?
