  5. Huckleberry Finn? Yessssss! (That was also Hemingway's favorite book). After 4 decades of reading, the only other book that I had to put down because of fits of laughter, was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

    Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer.

    Strange, unique confluence with this book. Called one of the 10 or 20 greatest books, it was also banned in the U.S. for almost 3 decades. Unique.
