"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" John Belushi in Animal House "Be the ball" Chevy Chase - Caddyshack

From Braveheart: Soldier: William Wallace is 7 ft. tall. Wallace: Yes, I've heard, and if he were here today, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes, and lighting bolts from his arse. I am William Wallace, and I stand here, in front of a whole army of my countrymen, in the defiance of tyranny. You came here as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight? Soldier2: Against that? No, we will run, and we will live. Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live, at least for awhile. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing, to take all the days from this day till then, to come back here and tell our enemies, they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom! From Aliens: "Get away from her you bitch!" - Ripley protecting Newt from the Alien Queen.
From Matrix when Morpheus teaches martial arts to Neo and says:"Increase your speed"(not sure about the sentence as I've watched the movie in french version )
"In confessions of a winning poker player, Jack King said "Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seams, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career." It seams true to me, cause walking in here, I can hardly remember how I built my bankroll, but I can't stop thinking about the way I lost it." -Mike, Rounders
You people need to stop quoting Boiler Room, how that half-baked redundant movie has anything to do with trading is beyond me (sorry, but I can't believe someone actually quoted Ben Affleck's crappy monologue -- please rent GlenGarry Glen Ross whoever that was and see what exactly he was trying to copy). "Buncha f*ckin nonsense." - Dave Moss, GGGR
Already saw GlenGarry...what about it???? Why don't you post the significance what it was he was "trying to copy".... What's your point????
My point is . . . ultimately my opinion, that's all. I apologize if I offended you, I just remember cringing and gagging at the theater during that particular scene -- they tried to do Mamet and came up milquetoast (you know I've been waiting years to use that word!) The quote I posted was in reference to the market, not you - sry just ignore me.
