    does the op substitute the term 'Mom.' to stand in for MACD in the question - CCI or 'Mom.'?

    "For the people who have used both CCI and Mom., which would you prefer? They are both momentum indicators and show roughly the same data, but are obviously different formulas. Any opinions matter, but if you have experience with both then let me know your thoughts.

    (I know there are other momentum indicators, but for my own research and backtesting I would just like to know between these specific two, thanks!)

    ((If it matters to you, this is for Forex primarily))"

    MACD, which includes a shorter moving average;
    has a momo measure in that moving average[ema]. Don't know if any of that helps Forex.
