Favorite (Healthy?) Snack.

  1. Fage yougurt with some fresh blueberries and strawberries mixed In, and a drizzle of honey.

    Fresh Vegetables cooked, curd/yogurt, apples, mangoes, jack fruit, jack fruit seeds, almonds soaked overnight, walnuts, peanuts boiled, cashew nuts, pears, custard apple, berries,boiled lenthils,whey protein, soaked, boiled kidney beans,boiled green gram lenthils, boiled black gram lenthis made into dosas with less oil, boiled leafy vegetables, raisins, finger millet malt porridge, oat porridge. (Oats are generally not recommended for women, though)

    Throw in a couple cans of tuna, and you have VZ's patented dog food recipe.

    Most protein bars have very nice packaging to attract customers.
    But they are Ultra Processed Food.

    How to tell whether they are UPF?

    - Memorize the ingredient list and see if you can memorize it in < 5 secs.

    - Try making it at home.

    If answers are no/cannot, then it is UPF.

    So is protein bar healthy?
    You decide.

  8. Protein bars are candy bars in gym clothing. Mostly.

    Those are all different snacks that I consume at different days/times. Not just one snack.
