  1. The second half of this, EZ Rider begins around 4:45.

One of the reasons Hendrix is far and away the best is because he was great in the studio (like Page) but live he was more electric (both literally and figuratively) than anyone...

Hendrix was the first great electric guitarist, and nearly all that followed Hendrix put him above all others...

In your link he was not wearing the clothes that he was in the other links.
which I think may now be broken.

when you wear clothes with tassels up and down the arms a pink bandana and tight bell bottom genes, you are dressed like barbie. does not matter if you play your guitar upside down or not.

  4. You are so clearly not experienced...

The fact that you would get hung up on Jimi's clothing shows how gay you actually are...

  5. Homophobe right wing freak you are...

Jimi spoke to your kind of small minded madness more than 40 years ago:

Jimi Hendrix If 6 Was 9 Lyrics

    Yeah)
    (Sing a song, brother)
If the sun refused to shine,
    I don't mind, I don't mind.
    (Yeah)
If the mountains fell in the sea,
Let it be, it ain't me.
Got my own world to live through
And I ain't gonna copy you.

Now, if 6 turned up to be 9,
    I don't mind, I don't mind.
If all the hippies cut off their hair,
    I don't care, I don't care.
Did, 'cos I got my own world to live through
And I ain't gonna copy you.

White-collar conservatives flashing down the street
Pointing their plastic finger at me.
They're hoping soon my kind will drop and die,
But I'm gonna wave my freak flag high . . . HIGH!

    Hah, hah
Falling mountains just don't fall on me
    Point on mister Buisnessman,
    You can't dress like me.
Nobody know what I'm talking about
I've got my own life to live
I'm the one that's gonna have to die
When it's time for me to die
So let me live my life the way I want to.

    Yeah . . .
    Sing on brother,
    Play on brother . . .

  9. Eric Bell had a great touch, especially as this is almost 40 years back. This was in the days when you played a solo it had a life of it's own. Man this was fun to play on my vintage '63 Strat.

    The Rocker

And for some very tasty slide guitar and straight into lead again there's Black Boys On The Corner

Little wonder there were so many fights!

Santana, same era: Song of the Wind. Wonderful percussion. We'd listen to this after the fights to calm down...

    Enjoy :)
