Oh yea. W/all due respect to the legacy of Hendrix, you know
Vai and Satriani can technically do anything that Hendrix or Clapton or anybody did but the reverse isn't true. And, as soulfully.

 

Actually, songwriting-wise I'd put Hendrix above any of them --still.

 

hendrix had more soul slash raw talent than them all put together!! i'll take soul over precision anyday!! twice on sunday

soul is not about METRIC length/mass/volume
