  2. Wow... most impressive!! I have to say, Youtube is great. After browsing through these videos, people will start to recognize true talent rather than listen to Rolling Stone magazine and your typical rock station. There's some fantastic talent out there that will now get at least a little exposure.

I couldn't find the groove in it, but impressive none the less. I kept waiting for her to bust into the intro of "Crazy on You" by Heart.

  8. I just stumbled across this thread, I spend most of my time in the Options Forum. Glad to see there are so many guitar lovers here!:D I've been playing about 40 years, I'll be 50 next year. My early influences were, of course, Eric and Jimi, then Johnny Winter and Rick Derringer (don't you love his TV commercial for Fidelity?). My older Brother played guitar and was in a band, and two of my older cousins were drummers in successful local bands, so I had the fever early! :D I stopped playing out when I was in my 30's, but still play every day. I've got quite a few guitars, here are four of my vintage BC Rich's.

From left, '81 Bich, original owner, '82 Eagle, '84 Mockingbird, and an '84 Stealth, designed by my guitar hero, Rick Derringer.

Favorite Guitar Solo? Oh man, that's impossible!!!
    Here are some:
    Clapton, "Crossroads"
Winter, "Good Morning Little School Girl"
Jimi, I'll go along with "Machine Gun", but there were lotsa others.
Derringer, again, so many, but "Beyond The Universe".
Then Vai and Satriani, well, they're both so good.
Then there's Doyle Dykes  Joe Pass, oh man, where do you stop?......
Sorry to be long winded, but it's cool there are so many guitar enthusiasts here.

  9. Welcome to the Guitar thread! It's not often you see a player with an Eagle or a Stealth! Nice. I only have a few Ibanez's these days. Oh yeah, love the Derringer commercial!
