Why would an "armed security patrol for the media should be wearing identifiable vests that they're with the media and stated they're armed" --- when even the local police departments are telling them not to be conspicuous. "Wearing identifiable vests that they're with the media" would only make them targets for violent protestors.
Name the security firm where Reinoehl was working as armed security guard and being paid for his services for this particular event. Otherwise you are spouting bullshiat.
I only said "paid security" which I've corrected. It's you who's making it out to be like I said he worked for some outfit: Later that month, Reinoehl was apparently back at protests. Showing a bloody bandage on his arm, he told Bloomberg News in a video posted online that he intervened in an altercation to pull a gun away from someone and was shot. Reinoehl said on the video that he had military experience and had been “working security” to try to protect people in the crowd. He said he had brought his daughter to the demonstrations. “It’s escalating to a point where they’re trying to disrupt us in every way that’s illegal,” Reinoehl said, asserting that people were shooting at protesters and starting fights.
Any idiot can claim they "worked security" in a crowd. And idiots don't come much bigger than Michael Reinoeh - you really should go read what his own family had to say about this violent nutcase. Any claim of "working security" is meaningless. Unless you can explain which recognized security firm Michael Reinoeh was working for and being paid by for this event -- then your assertions are worthless. As outlined in the warrant Michael Reinoeh is nothing more than a violent murderer who deliberately targeted, hunted down and murdered someone.
not my assertions, Reinoehl's assertions, who won't be able to defend against the literal assertions of being a violent murderer in a court of law as he was summarily executed. In other words, the righties' favorite game, trial by public opinion
I don't know if local police departments there are in fact "consulting" with the armed security of the media via advising them not to be conspicuous. Also, I don't know if wearing identifiable vests makes them targets for violent protestors. Now I'm curious to know the name of the "media organization" that was covering that event and that hired the armed security patrol. Yet, its common sense that if you're the media...you want to get close / blend in with both sides of the protests so that you'll go undisturbed to be able to get footage or photographs of the protesting. Regardless to all the above...it still became a clusterfuck via the fact individuals not trained with deescalating confrontations will quickly find themselves in deadly shootings like that. wrbtrader
