Using the word "retard" is the same as using the word Nigger,wetback, camel jockey, gook, chink, or faggot. Its offensive and sick that society today still uses that word and its not really socially unacceptable. Its the same way back in the 1800s when blacks were slaves and it was still socially acceptable to them niggers. Yet if you called black people that today, the same people that use the word retard will jump all over you asking how someone can be so ignorant in todays civilized society. Well there you have it.
