Sounds like you were trading my account today. The morning didn't fall into form for me at all and I called it quits for the day after taking a dumb trade and before the late day rally.
LOL. I should be the last to talk. If i had the kind of day FAST had, I would be 3K not as poor.
You even got Live commentary throughout the day. Granted, the commentary consisted of many swear words, but hey...it was a crappy day, what do you expect -Fast
I leave for work around 9:50 AM, so the NQ long was a scalp from the beginning. No reason to close it. Should have left it open with a stop @ LOD. Shorting ES at 1:22 PM was a desperate move to somehow salvage the day. I was leaving for work, and didn't think ES would break 1147. So figured I'd put on the short, and let it ride. I was even willing to hold it overnight if I didn't get stopped out. It was a stupid trade in "hopes" to regain my morning 2 pt loss. That's it. The volume rolled into the longs right as I put this on and left for work. Here's my trading schedule: 8:30 AM 9:50 AM in the morning. 15-20 minutes over lunch break. I should just not trade over lunch since I have very little time. -Fast
If you do trade during lunch break you should only take scalp trades or leave them to run only after your stop is at 1 tick profit. If it immediately turns around against you.... well... what can you do? TM Trader
Fast, I really don't think you should even think about trading the minis with the limited time you have. Unless you want to position trade for limited time periods when you're convinced the market is going up or down for a period. These last 3 weeks is a perfect example. How can you figure out your trading properly.
