It's pretty similar except IB's interface looks like its from the early 90's. Plus, you can't manage your trade right on the Market Depth window. Orders are still managed and placed through the main TWS window. With OEC's DOM window, you get to see your actual positions and stops right on the DOM. It's much easier to trade on Open E Cry's DOM than IB's TWS IMHO. -Fast
This is no revolution other than its is in C++ Jtrader and buttontrader has this same feature. Michael B.
Hi everyone. I got back from vacation late last week, and started trading this past Monday. I haven't been able to update my journal because my new broker, Open E Cry, doesn't provide exact execution times in their online reports. I have requested that they add the execution date/time to their reports and I'm sure they will soon have this feature, but for now, when I close out of the OEC platform, I lose the execution date/time information. But I am back, and trading ES. Seems like Scientist is really busy with the DAX these days. He called me crazy for trading DAX a few months ago and is now trading it himself I hope to restart this journal as soon as I can get OEC to add execution times to their reporting. Until then, I would like to keep this journal alive by discussing any trade ideas or suggestions you guys may have. -Fast

letom13eur, the OEC platform is wonderful. It hasn't crashed on me even once, and the executions are very fast. I'm glad I switched to OEC -Fast
the temp solution is if you place your cursor on executed order it will pop up with time detail but that is horrendous way for record keeping.
