Hello there, I am a spot forex trader, and I trade mostly the news releases on the GBP/USD pair. However, I have had some bad experiences with my broker (requotes, no fills, etc) and that led me to do some deeper research on other possibilities, which has driven me to currency futures. Considering that my main concern is execution speed (like I said, I trade mostly the news releases where volatility is at its peak), what broker/platform would you recommend? I have read that Ninja Trader/Zen Fire is about the industry fastest, but so I have heard about Velocity with X-Trader. Any feedback would help me making the transition from spot forex into currency futures smoother. Thank you in advance!
If you're doing the silly "trade the spike" thing then forget it with futures. You'll suffer massive slippage.
