i like CNBC...i like the fast money guys...and most of the peronalities on the channel as a whole. i think they do a great job of keeping the market entertaining.

    however...the nicknames...are just too much.

    "the admiral"
    "the negotiator"
    "the wookie"
    "the old sarcastic guy"
"the really hot persian chick with the funny name"

    pretty dorky.

These CNBC girls are just journalists, if that.
The important question? Who are the three most shagadelic?

    1) Liz Clayman (o)(o)
    2) Becky Quick
    3) Rebecca Jarvis....(knocked Maria off my list):D

  8. I've just watched in passing occasionally.

An excellent regular broadcast is still yet to come.

The TV people really ought to try to hook upwith some of the boutique brokers who have heavy hitter executives as clientel.

That way they would be having people on the program who are used to doing really great short term trading AND people who know the languagee used by decision makers with money.

Any evening program could also present a VERY GOOD and spcific round of comments to get people who are traders set for the next day.

As has been noted, this kind of program is just entertainment and most of it is just filler to use the time up. Anyone who is really doing a top job of trading and following the markets would not be able to nail all of the important thuff that is on the table, daily, in the time of that broadcast.

Its scary to think of the low quality of operation of the writers and producers of these shows.

Scarier still is that the audiences buy this stuff on this level.
