eric bolling trades a huge volume of natty a day.. mainly his own money so he is an independent trader. natty is his main commodity but he does crude as well.

fast money is a good show with well respected traders on wall st., but by the time u hear about some of the stuff on tv its too late to get into.

  3. You guys are idiots. I'm sure the hosts of Fast Money are reasonably intelligent and know their stuff. But the setup of the show itself is vulgar. CNBC has opted to become an entertainment venue over business news.

It reminds me of a game show: Who wants to be a millionaire or deal or no deal.

I met Bolling when he first got started. Over fifteen years ago.

Do you really think it is that hard to expand and branch out from trading energy commodities to learning a thing or two about non-energy related stocks in over fifteen years?

If you apply yourself, have access to good info and ask knowledgable peopel good questions - you can understand the relevant issues necessary to trade auto stocks or apparel stocks or whatever in a matter or months.

Paul Tudor Jones started out trading commodities (cotton). He is now in equities and currencies. He expanded past his original point of expertise. Same thing, just a larger scale.

  6. Macke... I have to give credit where he is due. quick on his feet with witty comments. At first, I didn't like him.. Maybe it was all of those bad trades on techs.

Najarian: he's on a mission to get people buying DOTM calls on just about anything with elevated call volume.

Bolling: biggest bullshitter of em all.

Adami: how did this guy get on the show?

  7. You're all females just dialing up ET to chat about brainless matters that you are totally clueless about, right?

  8. Don't forget that these guys have to come up with something new every week day for an hour.

If I had to do that every single day, I'm sure I"d degenerate into slewing forth a bunch of garbage a lot of the time as filler :D

  9. I like the show, you have 4 guys who trade everyday giving you ideas for free, you have to do your homework on any of their picks but bolling said last year to keep an eye on ICE because something was going to happen , 2 days later ice took off, it was 60.oo now I think its up around 150.00, I like to think if these guys can get wealth trading then so can we, one thing to notice is they are mostly specialist in a field, retail, options, oil and gas, they say you should deversify but it looks like the guys who really do well are the guys who trade only one or 2 markets, they know it super well and they make a great living, sort of like the plumber with all the trucks in the neighborhood or the electrician or the roofer, hes only doing one thing but he grows and hes keeps adding trucks , where the guy who is into everything usually goes out of business or is driving a piece of crap truck and advertising that he does every kind of home improvement there is

I read that bolling lost 200,000.00 on his first day and was down 2 mill when he went to school to read to his kids

so far the show has steered away from politics and hopefully it won't go the way of fox sat morning stocks shows
