Yes! That's exactly the POINT! The impact on the entire pay structure will be TREMENDOUSLY beneficial!!! $15/hr is OK with me. But I think Obama's suggested 10.10 minimum is right on target! Let's DO IT!

Let's get behind this and make it happen!

It's already too expensive (for me, anyway). Plus, most burgers are precooked and left in steam or heat pans in many fast food joints. Why pay for old shit? When I get the itch, I go buy a lb. of ground round and some french hamburger buns and fire up my grill. In addition, I know where my hands have been, and they get a good cleaning before I handle my food.

  3. yes, you get an extra $ per month, but you lose the exact same in your food stamp benefits

the difference being, the corporation now pays for it instead of me

Does there really need to be a cashier at Mcdonalds?
They will be the first to go if wages go up.

Higher wages also keep new competition out of the market. Entrenching the established businesses with more market power.

It s easier to try to unionize larger dominant industries then thriving multiple independent players.

Unions like to thin out the competition.

If that's the way it really works, then why stop at $15/hr?
    How about $150/hr?

Liberalism is all about drawing arbitrary lines against where nature or the marketplace has set them

*Its not a baby until 3 months
*It doesn't need to be a man and a woman to be married, it is whatever you like.
*if a family of 4 earns less then 23,550 they are in poverty, if they earn 23,551 they are not in poverty.
*You can vote on your own word
*If you call yourself gay you get special rights

I know plenty of small business owners (realtors) who will start young people out at 10 bucks and an hour... but 15... not going to happen... nearly as much.

They should be able to start them at $3 for 30 days, then if they are good they get regular wages.

At $15 a hour the risk is to high to give a kid a chance. You would be incline to find a more qualified person.

  10. Lucrum you really should just read and try to understand, you're in way over your head here. And yes that was a stupid question you asked, why don't you think why $15 an hour might work and why $150 wouldn't work. Your head may hurt at first trying to think but it'll be a good exercise for you.
