And her victory was celebrated by, among others, Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Greene. GOP lawmakers celebrate right-wing candidate’s win in Italian elections https://thehill.com/policy/internat...ght-wing-candidates-win-in-italian-elections/
OK, I'm speaking as an Englishman and obviously the UK has in the last couple of years exited from the EU. the new Italian leader seems keen for her country to do likewise. Leaving the EU is regarded by some US commentators and politicians as an insane example of extreme self-harm. But I wonder how US citizens would feel if they were members of an EU-style institution encompassing all the countries of North and South America. Would US commentators really feel it acceptable that Chilean politicians should get a say in how many hours a a week US citizens work in the US?

Putin will welcome the far-right victory in Italy as he cultivates more useful idiots in his war on the West Analysis The Kremlin’s determination to disrupt western alliances is well documented, however https://inews.co.uk/news/world/puti...ful-idiots-war-on-west-1878935?ito=smart-news
Yes, Italy's new prime minister is really a fascist: The old-fashioned kind Giorgia Meloni's entire career has been on the far-right fringe, surrounded by Mussolini's political heirs. https://www.salon.com/2022/09/29/ye...r-is-really-a-fascist-the-old-fashioned-kind/
It's not your business how and whom other countries elect their own leaders. As an alleged democrat (fu! ) you have to respect the will (self determination etc.) of the people... Or are you an anti-democrat? ROTFL!
Yeah... good luck with that assertion. When those wacky leaders pose a threat to our country and the rest of the world then it very much is our business.
