The KKK was founded by Democrats in the South opposing the "radical Republicans" during Reconstruction.

Own it. Your party created them.

To the libtards, everyone that disagrees with their retarded politics is a Nazi.

But they just accuse others of that which they are doing themselves.
    it’s in the Nazi playbook.

Hitler was a full out Socialist. NAZI means Nationalist Socialist Workers party. ET trolls are just plain dumb to know history. It is what it is and you fools cannot change it. Also, only the Democrat Party has Socialists, Communists and Islamists serving in the US Congress which explains their efforts to strip people of their rights under the US constitution. Any rights they take away from President Donald Trump----they take away from all Americans because that right is enshrined in the US constitution. Fascists are all on the left although, they blame it on the right to deflect and use disinformation to hide the truth.

    Have Italians lost their minds?

Since the end of WWII, Italy has had 69 different governments, at an average of one every 14 months. The political structure is so fragmented (and dogged by corruption) that administrations are often temporary coalition alliances with little parliamentary power to develop and enact meaningful legislation. Add to this the increasing power of the EU to impose legal requirements on the country and the abandonment of border controls against economic migrants from Africa and criminal migrants from the Balkans.

This would drive any country to reject its conventional political merry-go-round.

Actually, Meloni's party only took 26% of votes and the total turnout was only 64%. So her party can only legitimately claim committed support from about 16% of the population. Hardly a landslide for the far-right, more a protest vote against the incumbents.

In speaking of Italy and Germany leading up to WWII, it boils down to authoritarianism and totalitarianism. Both dictators cancelled any other political party. At that point it doesn't matter they allow corporations to maintain their brand names. For example, Hitler took over Renault in France and forced them to turn out military vehicles instead. Only an idiot would call this "right wing" as if it at all compared to the Republican party and it's modern platform. China, for example, disallows any other political party except the Communist party. At times they have allowed corporations to grow under their own brand names, and at other times, more recently, they've pulled the rug on that and re-asserted yet more totalitarian control. But we've never called China fascists. They've always been Communists, with relatively tigher or looser control of corporations, having initially started out with much more outright nationalization of industry by bureaus within the government (till they realized it leads more quickly to mass starvation) . Have the Chinese moved from left wing to right wing? No. They've been authoritarian totalitarians from the beginning.

In the U.S. today, it's the Democrats who most resemble an authoritarian dictatorship that seeks to extend that totalitarianism onto corporations, some of whom are glad to lend assistance, if the heads of those corps are partisan party members. Socialism? That's just a gimmick to pander for enough votes to seize power, and to distribute public funds in such a way as to maintain that power.

Will the new Italian prevailing party cancel every other party? Till then, they are blowing smoke whoever compares them to Mussolini's Socialism/Fascism (whatever you want to call his brand of totalitarianism).

Same for US politics. Until the Republicans find a way to cancel the Democratic party, it's insane to compare it to anything that came out of 20's, 30's and 40's Italy, Germany, Russia or China.

Today, it's the Democrats which are the home of cancel culture, and most obviously attack political opponents toward their goal of authoritarianism toward totalitarianism.

While Nazis were fascists and allied w/fascists (as anyone who's ever read anything about the Axis powers or the bombing of Guernica will tell you), I am not calling Meloni a Nazi, but a fascist.

You argue communists and fascists are in league with one another toward a common purpose.
