Farmer bail out (12 billion) announced

    it takes years to recover. a Chinese food supplier is now working with a Russian company. he's not going to just switch overnight. he's made commitment to the Russian and if the Russian delivers, he may never go back to his American supplier unless he is forced to.

    That being said, I am all for a trade war with China. It will take a generation, but it will make America (the nation stronger) even if it hurts Americans (the people) for a while.

    The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced details Monday of its "temporary relief" plan to help farmers who have been hit hard by retaliatory tariffs.

    The details: The department will make up to $4.7 billion available to help offset the costs of the trade war. U.S. soybean farmers are expected to receive the bulk of the payments at $3.6 billion.
