Famous option traders

The only infamous (I guess that counts as famous) option trader I remember was a pit broker named Steve Student. The only broker to never have a trade in his error account – he just made the market makers take them.

Edward Thorpe. He found Black-Scholes before Black-Scholes did. And has one of the best long-term track-records.

That, and being caught lying through your teeth.

 

I talked to Tony a lot one Summer during lunch near the CBOE. He turned virtually everything into credit long flies and condors. His fly inventory was ridiculous. IIRC he had one pinned expiration in which he made North of $10MM.

 

The evidence is that many believe me and think you are lying. And so it goes.

 

Well then, let them be heard. You lied about the PMs and more importantly, your dubious accounting practices.

 

Most avoid bullies in public posts. They don't have as thick a skin as I do. I'm getting bored with this. Have the last word on me. Those who believe me don't need my constant responses to your factless taunts.
