Still undecided. Haven't done any research, just stuff I stumble across. Odd that Buzz acted a bit angry when asked to swear on a bible. Odd that Armstrong didn't do interviews after the landing. Odd that NASA would "lose" all the data.
There have been six successful crewed moon landings as part of NASA's Apollo program. These landings took place between 1969 and 1972: Apollo 11 (July 20, 1969) – Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the moon. Apollo 12 (November 19, 1969) – Charles "Pete" Conrad and Alan L. Bean. Apollo 14 (February 5, 1971) – Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell. Apollo 15 (July 30, 1971) – David Scott and James Irwin. Apollo 16 (April 21, 1972) – John Young and Charles Duke. Apollo 17 (December 11, 1972) – Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt (the last crewed moon landing)
The final moon landing occurred during Apollo 17 on December 11, 1972, when astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt touched down in the Taurus-Littrow valley. This mission marked the sixth and last time humans set foot on the moon. Over the course of three extravehicular activities (EVAs), the astronauts spent more than 22 hours exploring the lunar surface, collecting samples, and conducting scientific experiments.
