Fairness doctrine is proof most liberals are socialist

  1. You are trying to ask a question for which there is no evidence to reach an realistic conclusions.

I have no idea what Obama is going to do.

He might govern very left wing, or he might govern very right, or he might govern in a moderate way.

Until I have more data about how he governs, why spend time guessing about it?

Same way as guessing if all republicans dream of sucking cock, just because we have seen a bunch of homo republicans get caught in the past couple of years, does that really give ground for proper speculation of republicans as a group?

Nighty night little boy, and sweet dreams of becoming a multi millionaire through trading...

Since you're relatively new I'll let you in on a not so secret. TrollZz the Elite Trader "PC" NaZzi, only asks questions.
    He doesn't do answers.

(I don't think he has any)

  3. ZZZZzzzzz this is why your an eternal dumbass. You give an example of not being able to make a prediction and speculation based on lack of information but then at the same time you pursue your dumbed down comments and speculations that lack information. You really need mental health drugs. You sound like you have some type of personality disorder. Everytime i get in a debate with you its the same old conflicting comments over and over again. You truly repel people ZZZZzzzzz. You should try and work on that in order for anyone to take you seriously. Remmember there is always tommorrow  Be happy.

  4. You're catching on to the resident troll's MO, Neo. But make no mistake, you have made the Zzztroll's day by merely bothering to try to reason with it at all.

If you try to debate the troll, the cycle will go like this:

    You reason.

    The troll obfuscates.

You point out that it is obfuscating.

The troll unleashes ad hominem designed to camoflauge its inability to defend its position. It does this non-stop.

You tire of the argument, and exit.

The troll belches, having claimed another victim.

Do what troll veterans like traderNik and I have learned to do over the years - since it wants only to stir the pot and not debate in a reasonable manner, simply ridicule it at every opportunity. Its rank hypocrisy serves such opportunities each and every day.

  5. The Fairness doctrine was originally introduced in 1949. The country did not collapse and it was removed by a Republican administration which did not want balanced viewpoints presented on the major broadcast channels.

Interesting note on the doctrine. In 1987, Helmes and Gingrich were on board in a bipartisan effort to make the doctrine federal law. Reagan vetoed the bill. I haven't discovered why they supported it at that time, and only speculate that they didn't feel conservatives were getting equal time as talk radio, including rush, were in their infancy of the current success they gained in the 90's.

  7. Could be. The idea that balanced viewpoints (which don't even have to be equal time) are somehow anti-Republican is strange, doubly strange when Republicans complain that there's a "liberal media."

  10. Yep, sadly Bush followed right in Clinton's tradition of war crimes against civilians.

Let us hope Obama refuses this all too well worn path.
