You should trade equities first, then move on to futures, not the other way around. The more leverage you use, the more likely you will blow up.
I think he has sufficiently proven that he doesnât know much and is therefore unlikely to have any money, but I would be happy to get in on the bet as well. I will even give him two to one.
The obvious pros and cons of futures are already listed. The main advantage trading stocks is you can achieve a much smoother equity curve since the correlation of your portfolio holdings can often be very low, also there are more opportunities if you can find them.
He's just another no-nothing adolescent, the likes of which are unfortunately taking over this forum. You could give hime 100 to one and he still wouldn't take you up on it. He probably couldn't shake out enough cash to buy a cheeseburger at McD's. So sad what this place has become. Barron's allowed what was once a tremendous trader's resource to turn into a mental asylum populated by multi-user looney tunes characters.
Oh yeah big shot? What advice can you offer? Huh? Tell us idiots how to trade futures.. Oh wait let me guess, "cut your losers short, let your winners run" "price action only" blah blah blah... useless drivel. You're an idiot.
I see you add value to this forum. Please let us know when you graduate to two lots on the simulator ASSWIPE!
You guys are nuts. Calm down everybody. The only person on this thread that seems believable is xxxskier. I would perhaps read his posts ud4l and ignore the rest of these turds.
ChkitOut: Let's see Everyone else is an idiot He guarantees every futures poster is a loser Futures doesn't work... Chip on shoulder Argues every point and adds no value. Needs some major psychiatric help. So, why are you here? (don't worry, I am putting you on ignore) before you have a chance to call me a loser because I said something also.
