  1. The data is out there if you look or one can just emotionally react to the headlines.

It's a very simple question. Please show us why October is a sweet spot for a rally. If you are able to answer it, answer it, if not then go troll somewhere else.

  3. Sounds like you just want folks to confirm your bearish bias -- your very simple question requires a very simple google search.

I'm unclear short term but expecting a rally of some type in Nov/Dec off of whatever the bottom is soon. I believe quality stocks, TSX energy, and potentially some destroyed small caps / miners to do fine a year plus out in any event. It's a mixed market some stocks could still get hammered in a recession but some are beat up so bad they can't really go much lower unless they are insolvent.

Special trades show up all the time when sentiment flips on a sector. Copper/silver miners and banks often are great swing trades in market rallies. The stuff I follow here in Canada is suggesting small caps may have bottomed out ( kind of a rock bottom almost no volume except on news ). It does mean however that they can really fly if they find new buyers, insiders, or get taken over.

It's up 3%. Nobodies 'crushing' the market on such a trade you seem to be far too invested emotionally in small returns.

SAME here In US\ + that why i seldom if ever look @ tic charts\ or[ bid\ ask, unless i'm daytrading....................................................
SPY benchmark = good downtrend\polar bear trend.
Most metals= good uptrend; silver + SLV ETFs a bit weak short term.
I like the small caps / but done better with inverse of UPRO= a 3 x SPY.
But I'm actually doing an early study today on Canadian silver stock/simply because it has such good moVes:caution::caution:

BETTER that big trend /SQQQ than my much smaller UPRO loss today\ good moves in SPXS. 3.3% SPXS move today, not a big trend.:D:D But it can move 30% in some Weeks\maybe not this week.
Hope you did not get in SQQQ about $70\ i got in some Hi priced spxu earlier in month + i dont like to swing over nites much\ but my plan FORBIDs hitting bids on a panic sell:D:D
Perfect entry, not meaning 120% best entry \LOL perfect also means mature:caution::caution:
