  5. From the Home Office, that keeps UK crime stats, for 2009/2010 on page 3, violent crime also includes pushing and shoving. In the US, assault is recorded only if its aggravated assault, meaning there has to be bodily harm, whereas in other countries, mere pushing and shoving is considered assault. In the 2002/2003 report they have harassment grouped in with violent crime pie chart. Heaven forbid dumb americans would even consider going through the definitions of the crime to see if they are comparable in the first place.

    Isn't that the truth. Teachers can't touch a kid these days without getting sued. We had to say the Pledge of Allegiance every day when I was a kid. Of course, that was shortly after the country was founded. :D
