    Humpy

From the UK. Yes I know our politicians have made lots of mistakes too, but that's no excuse repeating some of them by your guys.

Maybe politics should become like other professions - if they learnt the professsion from the bottom up like lawyers they might have more chances of success.

  3. Do they have term limits in the UK?

What we need in the states is term limits. If the President and both houses of Congress turned over every 8 years, we could get some stuff done.

  4. yeah except, you liberals want stuff done

    us conservatives like gridlock

the less that gets done the better

you can always tell who is a liberal

    they just want stuff done

no matter how damaging it is to you and me

  5. The thing about the global currency New World Order stuff is that right now they are playing hell to hold the EU together. The Asian Union and North American Union have not yet been formed, and the African Union is in it's infancy.

I don't see how the global currency thing can get any real traction. Furthermore, the United States will have to get into a war in which it lost big. I mean, we fought like we fought in WWII and still lost. I do not see that happening before we play the nuclear card.

The global currency and rfid chips are two things that will cause revolution in the United States if it is tried.

    I just don't see it Pre-Armageddon.

  6. Fair enuf. But then who will have the political will to make tough choices like what to cut to bring our deficit in line.

Gridlock is good in some cases, but in others not so much. Where is the middle. How about lets get just enuf done?

  7. I'm pretty sure the market will tell us when we can't borrow any more

  8. If it was up to me, I'd be borrowing the hell out of the market at these low rates

    and spending like crazy

even if it was just to build a bridge

anybody that was unemployed would be working for the government

we can fix it all later in the mix

  10. That would be a sub optimal outcome for the majority of Americans. For those of us who trade or took non-outsourceable careers. It's all good, but if we fragment any worse along socioeconomic lines. It would be bad for us all.

Waiting for the ultimate mega crash would be very bad for a bunch of reasons. Government ( I know, liberal) can do some things to stop or at least soften the landing.
