@gwb-trading Are you super excited and optimistic about Trump's pic for NIH? No more retarded lock down bullshit. https://apnews.com/article/trump-ni...tutes-health-454874e66e842ef8c953ece905c00fe1 Trump picks Jay Bhattacharya, who backed COVID herd immunity, to lead National Institutes of Health
Yes, natural herd immunity is a proven method to defeat pandemics. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Death I'm not saying the lockdowns didn't go too far -- they absolutely did. But the other extreme might not work out so well either. https://www.perplexity.ai/search/has-jay-bhattacharya-s-great-b-1m5iqA52Sn2eF.odNOqjhQ
A covid virus and bacteria aren't the same thing. It is abundantly clear that the lockdowns did absolutely nothing for covid-19.
Yeah.. whatever. As outlined numerous times previously backed by respected data — the lockdowns did nothing more than save millions of lives at a time when vaccines were not available for Covid yet and the initial case fatality rate was above 3%.
Trump was President when the Pandemic started. He then locked the country and shut down the economy as in "lockdown". Why do you think he did that when a lot of talking heads were saying the Pandemic was a hoax (not real) ??? The NIH back in 2020 advised Trump if you're going to shut down the country...shut down all travel (airlines, cruises, cargo ships, et cetera) to the United States. Trump then decided to restrict only China and Europe, not the United Kingdom. Big mistake because dual citizens between countries in Europe and the U.K., they only needed to travel from Europe to the U.K. and then travel from the U.K. to the United States. Health checks at the airport in customs was a "medical questionnaire" and nothing else. Sick travelers from the U.K. then lied when they said they feel good (no illness) on that "medical questionnaire" for the purpose to be able to enter the United States. 2:53 of the below video - Trump states "...These restrictions will not apply to the United Kingdom"... After Trump lockdown the economy...multiple times he stated "we done a great job" and it will be gone by April. By the way, Operation Warp Speed saved millions of lives even though the United States had one of the worst performances against the COVID-19 infection mainly because we had too much difficulty in following federal & state health guidelines... Later in the lockdown, some states made a choice to not follow the government health guidelines because they wanted to open up earlier to prevent further damage to the state's economy. It was like watching someone drive drunk without wearing a seatbelt. They then get into an accident and then blame it on poor road conditions as in it's "not their fault...the road did not protect me". I'm glad the Pandemic is over. My family and I are back to traveling. Happy Thanksgiving!!! wrbtrader
It's abundantly clear you have no expertise in medical science and very little understanding of the early years of Covid. You can't revive all the dead Americans who chose not to protect themselves from the virus. The scary thing about ignorant fks like yourself is even when there is an overwhelming amount of data and evidence out there, you just invent your own fake reality instead.
He doesn't understand why lockdowns by Trump (1st lockdown) and Biden (2nd lockdown) did not work in the United States because many people didn't want to "lockdown" and they didn't follow other Pandemic health guidelines. That's why I mentioned in my reply to him that Trump was advised by the CDC and the NIH that if he's going to lockdown the United States...he must do a complete lockdown and not just say some countries like China and Europe can not get in while allowing other countries like U.K. to enter the United States by only being required to fill out a "medical questionnaire" without any testing and quarantine. Thus, infected travelers from those other countries (e.g. United Kingdom) that Trump allowed to enter the United States...essentially it made lockdowns less ineffective for those that did not follow the health guidelines. It's ironic that the travelers from the U.K. were allowed to enter the United States initially in the Pandemic. The irony is explained later below about the Revolutionary War. It verified that Trump mishandled or mismanaged the protection of America during the Pandemic regardless of his administration creating Covid Vaccines out of Operation Warp Speed. Yet, there were other flaws with the United States population (about 35%) refusing to cooperate with the health guidelines involving lockdowns. Getting back to my seatbelt analogy that many anti-seat belt organizations stated would not work, a violation of freedom to drive any way they want when seatbelt laws were being formed...many people did not use them and some today still do not use seatbelts or they misuse seatbelts...injuries or death as a consequence. Today, there are still a few anti-seatbelt organizations. Yet, society has learned to ignore their ignorance, which has existed since the 1970s because we know they now know the consequences whenever they do not use seatbelts when driving their vehicles. Anti-vaccine people are more difficult. They've been around since George Washington ordered (mandated) the Continental Army to be vaccinated against smallpox to help the colonies defeat the British during the Revolutionary War...creating America. The price of using vaccines...an insurrection by Patriots in the 13 colonies against British rule, resulting in American independence...while other anti-vaccine colonists gave out letters to the colonies not to trust the vaccine. 14% of the unvaccinated population died while only 2% of the vaccinated population died during the Revolutionary War. Vaccination helped us to defeat the British. The irony is that 100s of years later, Trump let the British (U.K.) enter the United States during the lockdown. That decision injured and killed many Americans during the Pandemic Happy Thanksgiving...I have two...one in Canada (2nd Monday of October) and one in the United States (last Thursday of November). wrbtrader
