The guy is a Covidiot and a drunk. He easily forgot many Americans can not be vaccinated due to medical reasons, or religious reasons but they wear their face masks on airplanes because they know nothing about the health status of the person next to them.

Also, there are many Americans who are immuno-compromised and must protect themselves even if the person next to them has a simple cough.

I am on vacation now and sat for many hours on a plane next to a woman who has an Autoimmune disease but was flying to visit her daughter. That woman wore a mask and there was an empty seat between the two of us.

I think the Yellowstone actor was drunk on the plane and didn't give a shit about why that person wanted to wear a mask. He made a big stink about it and the airlines then put him on another less crowded flight and he could then get an empty seat next to him.

Forrie J Smith who is part of the anti-vax movement continued...

"Ya, I've been drinking. I've been sitting in an airport for three hours. Ya I'm drinking. I ain't drunk, but they throw me off the plane because I'm drunk, because you people won't stand up and tell everybody what bulls—t this is.

"I just told them I didn't feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask, and I'm off the plane."
Contradiction to his I ain't drunk claim...he did not know what airport he was at. Someone nearby had to tell him where he was at. :D  :p

One said, "I bet the masked person was grateful to see you get the boot," while another added, "You’re such a crybaby. You’re threatened by a mask? Get a life."

Another person chimed in, "I love the tough guy act while also saying the sissiest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Scared of a mask. Haha."

"You may not be falling down drunk but you’re definitely under the influence. That’s what got you booted. Man up and admit alcohol made you run your mouth and now you’re paying the price," seethed someone else.

An individual pointed out, "Nobody was making you wear the mask so what the F is the problem. You made a stink about it after drinking and they threw you off the plane. Good for them."

One more remarked, "Sometimes it better to just admit you were wrong than trying to double down on your mistake and get a mob behind you on social media to gather behind you in your bad choice. Just admit you were wrong and learn from it."

By the way, Yellowstone is one of my favorite shows on TV. This guy is not one of my favorites. :D

  5. I still wonder why Tsing Tao started ignoring this thread after I answered his question and asked him to share his conclusion on that dataset in return. Can someone confirm that this is standard modus operandi for independent critical thinkers?

Apologies. Since GWB has me on ignore, I don't automatically see this thread (since he started the thread) unless I actively search it out and come here to add something. So your posts weren't visible to me until, as I said, I had to manually pull it up. Of course, the GWBNPC who has me on ignore in the first place loves your post. That should give you pause right there.

So I'm going to make the post I came here to do (which is why I manually pulled it up from bookmarks) and then I'll come right back and address your questions to me. Sound good? Or, if you want to make smarmy comments about the modus operandi of independent thinkers, you can always just piss off. I note that - if you truly wanted my engagement, you could have private messaged me. But you'd rather posture here.

Just remember, this is a good example of how what you seem to think is the truth is actually something you haven't thought of.

The breakdown by age is in the last tab, called "table 5". Its quite clearly there:

    upload_2024-4-4_9-23-32.png

Now, I've already run the pivot table, and this is what I've found.

So this says - basically - and you can run the data if you wish on table 5...that deaths of all causes by vaccinated aren't just higher, but REALLY higher. But the data didn't make any sense to me, because it's really, really skewed. If this were actually the conclusion to go with, it would be world news right now, and not in your favor.

No, I postulate that the reason these numbers are so high is because the UK had such a massive vaccination rate, with so few being unvaccinated. As a result, the numbers are always going to show a much higher "all cause" mortality for those who are "ever vaccinated".

Conclusion? Nothing. Because the "ever vaccinated" population is so massive in the UK, you can't draw any conclusion.

So, that's what I was looking for from you originally - some working through the problem with me so I could see what someone who I thought was intelligent and willing to have a normal debate on a subject would think. But instead, I got an asshole who decided to go with snark because I couldn't see the thread and assumed that this must mean that I wanted to hide from him/her.

Just like almost every other person on this forum (which is why I don't visit all that often anymore).

And don't get all upset again if I don't come to this thread for a couple of days, Jean.

Sounds like someone needs to go fully understand the concept of Base Rate Fallacy. Even if the total number of vaccinated deaths are greater than the unvaccinated -- the statistics needs to take in account that the total number of vaccinated group is much greater than the unvaccinated.

The real statistic of interest is the percentage of deaths in the unvaccinated group and the percentage of deaths in the ever vaccinated group.

Just as a hint -- the percentage of deaths in the unvaccinated group is much greater than the vaccinated group. Also the average age of deaths in the unvaccinated group is lower than the vaccinated group. The deaths in the vaccinated group tend to be elderly.

  10. I don't have much time now, but will check on the excel again and come back to you on the actual topic.

But I do want to admit right now that you are right on me drawing the wrong conclusion after you stopped answering. Mea culpa.

In my defense (not an excuse, but an explaination you might appreciate as a trader): it is an online forum and I did answer to your question not that long after you posted it. What are the odds you got blocked exact at that moment?
