Hey Jean. Check this link out, which is the Office of National Statistics in the UK. There's an excel file they provide that shows deaths by age group for both vax'd and non-vax residents, all causes. Can you tell me what you see? I'm genuinely curious.
I opened the main excel on top of the page, not sure which one you are referring to but that one seemed to be the total overview. Main conclusion from that table for me would be that there is a significant difference in "age-standardised mortality rate" (column G): Unvaccinated: average = 1481 Ever vaccinated: average = 1016 (Filtered for all causes of death.) I don't see a breakdown by age, maybe it's one of the other files I need for that? Based on the numbers above it confirms vaccination saves lifes. But somehow I got a feeling that is not your conclusion, so please tell me what numbers exactly you were looking at.
They also need to obtain a proper understanding of Base Rate Fallacy when the vaccinated group is much larger than the unvaccinated group. What percentage of the unvaccinated group died versus the percentage of the vaccinated group? Today, after billions of Vaccine Doses...less than 1% (do the math) have had a severe reaction to the Covid vaccines. Yeah, there have been some deaths too. Yet, Covid-19 vaccines are still the safest vaccine in the history of vaccination although there's arguments among scientists that the Smallpox vaccine is the best performer. I'm OK with someone choosing to not be vaccinated. Yet, I'm not OK with someone using social media to spread conspiracy theories about vaccines. Other uses of mRNA vaccines Already, mRNA vaccines are being tested for other infectious agents, such as Ebola, Zika virus, and influenza. The mRNA vaccine technology also is being tested as a treatment for cancer. Cancerous cells create unique pieces of protein that are not found on healthy cells. A vaccine that produces those pieces can educate the immune system to attack those cells. Progress recently was reported with melanoma.
