    Not shocking...

There are still a lot of Americans in need of blood to live who do not want blood from vaccinated people, do not want blood from someone of a different race, do not want blood from someone of a different religion, do not want blood from someone with a different political belief...

The Red Cross stopped catering to these idiots during World War II after they made the mistake of catering to them to only have an unusual number of people die because their requested blood was not available when they needed it.

We remain grateful to the community leaders who have held us accountable and who continue to do so while supporting and advocating for our humanitarian mission. Today, the Red Cross stands firm in its dedication to diversity and inclusivity, and resoundingly rejects hate, racism, and bigotry of any kind.

The above words are from a blood donation center not that far from Fort Campbell, Kentucky...home of my Screaming Eagles.

Here's a little mind twister that many do not know...which world-famous guitarist served with the 101st Airborne Division??? (hint: Purple Haze)

Yeah, my old man met him when the guitarist was a private and before he became famous although they were in different units. My old man was a 2nd Lieutenant at the time of their meeting...fresh out of the ROTC program. My dad did not like the private (guitarist). :D

I had COVID. Two days it took me to get over it. Was actually shorter than a flu or cold. Never got the vax. Went through my whole household, and everyone was fine. No one vax'd.

  4. Ok. And my family and myself got the vaccin. Didn't notice anything at all.
Does that prove side effects are non-existent? No.
But you not dying from covid in the same way doesn't prove others don't.

It's about odds and large numbers.
Looking at it from the perspective of an entire society the vaccin is the rational choice.

Was it early on in the pandemic or later? Did you and your family get tested. If so, what test was used and what was the result?

Percentage of family members (immediate)...all vaxxed and boosted once, no one was infected with Covid and no one had any severe side effects.

Relatives in two different countries (France and the United States)...all vaxxed and boosted once, no one was infected those with immune system problems going into the Pandemic. No one had any severe side effects. Yet, my brother (a doctor in the states), and his family (wife and kids) are double boosted.

Close friends in 5 different countries...50% of the friends were infected with Covid...they barely had a cough. 8% died from Covid...all died without the family being able to be with them in the hospital. Not one was vaccinated. :banghead:

What was very interesting about my friends...the ones that survived and barely had a cough versus the ones that died...the ones that barely had a cough were in excellent shape & health food eaters before being infected with Covid. In contrast, those who died from Covid...they had health problems going into the Pandemic such as Diabetes, Obesity, Low Blood Pressure, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, Smokers, Heavy Meat Eaters, and seldom exercised.

Those that died...they all died from Covid Pneumonia while on life support in the hospital. One of them infected a nurse...the nurse later died. She was young...about 25 years old and had recently been married.

The Pandemic was horrible and depending upon where you lived and your health status before the Pandemic...some barely had a cough while others had severe Covid infection that required hospitalization and some died from Covid Pneumonia.

I was (still am) one of the ones that have an immune system problem going into the Pandemic from an illness (Sepsis Pneumonia) that almost killed me in the fall of 2016. Simply, I did not fuck around and believed the misinformation/disinformation bullshit...

In addition, I'm highly allergic to a few of the vaccines (J&J and Pfizer) except for Moderna. Had I been vaccinated with those two vaccines...I could have had a severe vaccine reaction. Instead, my doctor vaccinated me with Moderna.

I'm lucky because less than 10% of the vaccinated population were tested for vaccine allergies before getting a Covid vaccination. Worse...about 80% of the vaccinated population had a Covid test on the day of the vaccination. Simply, a very large percentage of the global vaccinated population...blindly took the Covid vaccine without knowing it they were suitable for vaccination.

I had to take care of my health and get vaccinated because I'm a parent of three children who travel often between three different countries. Simply, it was not a time to become a Covidiot.

Why did I not become double boosted ???

I became more dependent upon face masking while traveling from country to country...same with my children. More importantly, I have a science degree that involves immunology & genetics plus I did an internship in college in an infectious disease research lab. I felt the the first vaccine booster would jump start my immune system to a level my body needed without needing to get a 2nd booster.

With that said, I have family in different countries...some of them are first responders. A few are military. We all took the Pandemic very seriously and stayed focused on surviving the Pandemic...

We didn't want to roll the dice or play Russian Roulette to see if we would be lucky and just barely have a cough.

So then how can you say I'm wrong about anything if you just told me it doesn't prove anything?

You engaged me, telling me i was wrong about COVID.

And, just for your edification, "vaccine" has an "e" in it.

As for your argument on "odds and large numbers", I can make the same argument for the flu or for the common cold.

"Early" is a subjective term. It was 2021, late spring. I don't remember the actual brand test, as I had not thought that Piezoe would require the actual brand name three years later. The result was positive - twice, which is why I knew I had it.

I stated something incorrectly in my prior message...I said about 89% of the vaccinated population had a Covid test on the day of their vaccination. I meant to say about 80% of the vaccination population had NO Covid test on the day of their vaccination. Thus, they blindly took the Covid vaccination.

That's my beef with the Covid Vaccination process (not with Trump/Pence Operation Warp Speed)...

80% blindly took the Covid vaccination without being required to be tested for allergies and being tested to ensure they were not infected with COVID-19 considering it's estimated about 25% of the population were infected with Covid...

They did not know they were infected, were too lazy to get tested considering they barely had a cough or were tested and given an inacurrate negative result when they were positive for Covid.

Why is the above a big deal?

The probability of having a severe bad reaction to the Covid vaccine increases dramatically if you're vaccinated when you're infected with Covid (a no-no in immunology) or when you're allergic to the Covid vaccine...another no-no in immunology.

As stated, I was lucky because I was tested for Covid on my vaccination date along with being required to answer a medical questionnaire that asked if I was sick. In addition, my Doctor who vaccinated me had my medical records and he knew about my illness in the fall of 2016...

I had a very dangerous allergic reaction when I was in a Coma and being treated for sepsis pneumonia...a few of those ingredients in that treatment were in the J&J and Pfizer vaccine.

Simply, I was instead vaccinated in 2021 with Moderna because it did not have those ingredients that I am allergic to.

Hopefully, there will be required tests on the day of vaccination to ensure the person is suitable to be vaccinated if we have another Pandemic...the emphasis needs to be placed on the family Doctor vaccinating people and not some random vaccination clinic that pops up overnight or a local pharmacy that does not have access to your medical records.

  10. You posted a personal anecdote, my point is that is not relevant in this discussion.

All studies so far prove vaccination was the right thing to do. That is why I said you are wrong. Yes, side effects exist. But taking everything into account vaccination saves lifes. That is a fact, not an opinion.

Flu and especially common cold are not a good comparison since covid's pressure on hospitals was a lot higher. You are comparing apples to oranges here.

Thanks for correcting me on the spelling of vaccine, I'll try to not make the same mistake again.
