What does "immigration crackdown" have anything to do with Silicon Valley?

A lot of immigrants work in Silicon Valley. The CEO of Google and Microsoft are Indian (born and raised).

The L.A. police chief said they would not be enforcing any immigration policies from Trump citing that the fed does not 'trump' the state's policies/laws (pun intended). Most states will tell that psychotic racist to piss off. California is to progressive to go back to the 30's.

As the article says, trumps plans are more sweeping than just building a wall. It will limit and shutdown some legal immigration as well.

How is that? Legal immigrants don't sneak through walls.

He will change the laws around quotas and process for Legal immigrants to come here and stay and work here. For example, there is a law that an immigrant can get a greencard if they start a business that creates jobs. He wants to end that.

Here is D Trump's official immigration plan https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/donald-j.-trump-address-on-immigration
Never he says anything of what the very speculative Bloomberg article stipulates.
Just curious where Bloomberg got its info from.

Well that article is from 8/31. His publicly stated views have changed a lot since then. A lot of his pre-election views are already taken down from his website. I don't know Bloombergs sources but they are one of the best news organizations in the USA.

Also because he focuses on one aspect in a speech doesn't mean that is his entire and complete stance on that issue.
