UPDATE: Dan Bongino Sets Return Date For Free Speech Platform Parler https://trendingpolitics.com/dan-bongino-says-parler-could-return-sooner-than-anyone-thinks/ One of Parler’s owners is former Secret Service agent and current top podcaster Dan Bongino, and he gave a bit of a timeline for relaunch during a segment with Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday. “We’re shooting for Monday,” said Bongino. “Monday looks good. Fingers crossed.”
With Parler back online now, I look for Twitter to slowly fade away and be relegated to the dust-heap of historical failures.
Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger slams the site's left wing 'woke' bias and claims its days of 'neutrality are long gone' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ites-leftist-bias-claims-neutrality-gone.html Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger has slammed the site's leftist bias and claims its days of 'neutrality are long gone' in a new interview. Sanger, 52, called alleged bias on the site he co-founded in January 2001 with Jimmy Wales 'disheartening' in an interview for a Fox News analysis. 'The days of Wikipedia's robust commitment to neutrality are long gone,' Sanger said. Sanger told the outlet he is now working on a new 'Encyclosphere' project but said he doesn't think Wikipedia could be 'salvaged.'
House Passes Legislation That Would Allow Justice Department To Demand Removal Of Social Media Posts https://dailycaller.com/2021/03/04/...ustice-department-removal-social-media-posts/ The House of Representatives passed legislation as part of the omnibus HR1 bill that would allow the Department of Justice to require social media sites to remove certain posts. The Foreign Agent Disclaimer Enhancement (FADE) Act, originally introduced by Democratic Virginia Rep. Abigail Spanberger and Republican New York Rep. John Katko, was added as an amendment to the HR1 For The People Act on Wednesday night via a 223-208 vote. It requires social media sites to remove posts at the direction of the Attorney General, if the United States government determines that the posts do not identify that they were made by foreign agents, according to The Hill. The FADE Act requires that disclaimers on “informational materials for or in the interests of a foreign principal which are transmitted or caused to be transmitted by an agent of a foreign principal” be included on social media sites with more than 50 million monthly users.
CNN Raises $230k For “Struggling Mother of Three” Only to Find Out That She Doesn’t Have Kids https://trendingpolitics.com/cnn-ra...-to-find-out-that-she-doesnt-have-kids-crugg/ CNN seems to have an issue with attracting fake news. The liberal network recently promoted a story of a poor mother of three who was worried about getting evicted from her home. When it was all said and done, CNN helped raise $230,000 for the “mom” Dasha Kelly. One little problem… the “struggling mother” who was afraid of being evicted doesn’t have any kids.
Gold Star Mother Locked Out of Facebook Account After Sharing Her Story on Meeting President Biden https://trendingpolitics.com/gold-s...ng-her-story-on-meeting-president-biden-knab/ The grieving mother of a fallen Marine, Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikou, met with President Joe Biden on Sunday at the dignified transfer ceremony at Dover Air Force Base. The mother, Shana Chappell, took to social media to share her agonizing story of meeting the president, which didn’t sit well with the Facebook and Instagram censors. She was locked out of her social media accounts for what she had to say about the president. “President Joe Biden, This [message] is for you!” Chappell wrote. “I know my face is etched into your brain! I was able to look you straight in the eyes yesterday and have words with you. After I lay my son to rest you will be seeing me again!”
BREAKING: Twitter Locks Independent Journalist Kyle Becker Out Of His Twitter Account Without Reason https://trendingpolitics.com/breaki...er-out-of-his-twitter-account-without-reason/ On Tuesday afternoon, the communists at Twitter locked independent journalist Kyle Becker out of his account without giving any particular reason. They vaguely told him he “violated” guidelines, but didn’t actually give him specifics. However, we know the real reason for the suspension is that they hate free speech. With nearly 200k Twitter followers, Kyle is one of the top independent journalists online, and they clearly despise that fact. If you’re a TrendingPolitics reader, you’ve no doubt seen hundreds of articles from Kyle on this site. He has been a valuable contributor who helps fight the good fight against the tyrannical Biden administration. Apparently, he was doing such a good job that Twitter wants him silenced.
