Facebook made $150m but is worth $15b?

  2. Facebook is worth between $30-45 billion, which is reasonable given its huge growth and marketshre and traffic. Facebook can be treated as a full fledged media company like Fox, CNN, CBS, Yahoo, or MSNBC.

    You can't put blue-chip value on a website with no revenue and a mercurial user base.

  5. having users and making money are two separate things. social networking has a long way to go before it shows its true value. right now facebook is far away from that point and needs new vision to reach its potential.

    hardly worth anywhere near those big names mentioned

  9. The website has more than 69 million active users worldwide. It's a monster.

    Consider also that the data they hold is an advertisers dream - they can directly target you based on your interests and details listed in your profile.
