You are right and wrong. A bike thats price is related to a car, the bike would win of course simply because of the weight. If you take a fast bike and a Ferrari Enzo or CS, the bike has no chance. The traction pad is way to small on a bike. But yes, for the average sports car and average sports bike, the bike would win.
I believe you are correct. When I was younger and felt invincible, I had a 750 cc crotch-rocket rice burner (Kawasaki Ninja), and I made toast of any BMW, Camaro, or other sports car that would slide up next to me at a stoplight and rev their engines. They simply had no chance. Never raced a Ferrari!
