Where do I find quotes of the Dow Jones futures? What is the symbol? I'm not going to trade futures, I just want to see the futures direction so I can get an idea of where Dow is headed next day - I'm assuming Dow futures are good indicators of next day's DJIA direction, right? Thanks.
There is the Dow Index $INDU, and I think this is what they all call "cash index" Then the big pit traded contract at CBOT (DJ) and then there is the e-mini one traded at eCBOT, (YM). or maybe DJ is the cash futures index, and YM is the futures.. yeah.. symbols are confusing.
Oh my head. So what time are they traded? And where can I get the quotes? I'm trying to get an idea of where Dow (the index) is headed the next day.
