  1. Indeed, OddTrader:

"You don't need more self-control, you need lower latency and faster execution."

"You don't need to understand market mechanics, you need an autoadaptive digital signal processing indicator."

"You don't need more patience, you need lower commissions for more trades."

"You don't need enhanced powers of observation, you need a forecast for the shape of the day."

"You don't need to understand what's really happening, you need a backtested system (we have hundreds of them for you to choose from)."

  2. is it wrong that i agree with every one of those points? i know from experience if i could get guaranteed fills on prices that i see coming in it would be possible to money hand over fist at 0% risk. thats not the case though. hence systems making 10k+, 0% negative trades, a day on paper accounts and flopping on their face when live. slippage is the bane of my existence right now

  7. Here is an extrapopular ordinary delusion for you. The system supplicant thinks he can trade the system he is given. Once I fully disclosed to ET a system which worked. Sadly it was so counterintuitive as to be utterly illogical. All I got for my generosity was ridicule and abuse. When fully explained, it was obvious that it couldn't possibly work. I will admit that although the probability was high, the expectation was low, and I hoped that ET's participation would make it more profitable. But ET was too stupid for me. Even though I made it cookbook simple.

  9. While I am establishing full 18 U.S.C. 2257 Requirements Compliance for my new website, I will disclose to you free the First Noble Truth of Trading:

Right View - Limit order traders know how to make market order traders sweat like strippers know how to make dicks hard. The sooner you learn trade with your third head, the better.
