Extra Monitor on a laptop?

Yes. I plug one monitor directly with HDMI, the second one with an HDMI/USB-C adapter and then my laptop as a third monitor.

That said, I'm probably displacing these with a single ultrawide screen. Not quite decided yet, but I desire more screen space and adding a 3rd external screen is a bit more trouble (I'd need a new rack and a docking station) than running 2.

so instead of an external graphic card, you use an HDMI/USB-C adapter.
    yeah
thought you may have found a way to eliminate that extra piece to keep track of.

    cheers

I have two external monitors and no external graphic card.
". . . plug one monitor directly with HDMI, the second one with an * HDMI/USB-C adapter* and then my laptop as a third monitor.

Plug in your HDMI cord to you monitor and follow your PC's on-screen instructions.
